We Need to Talk
What do we do when we bring a problem to Jesus, but instead of immediate intervention, He invites us into a conversation?
In this message titled "We Need to Talk,", Pastor Thomas-Steele walks through John 2:1–4 and the conversation between Mary and Jesus at the wedding in Cana. While we often want quick deliverance, Jesus sometimes chooses to slow us down, draw us closer, and reveal what is happening beneath the surface. His delays are not indifference, and His questions are not rejection—they are invitations to deeper trust, surrender, and intimacy.
When we pray in the middle of our problems, we must remember: our deliverance comes at Jesus’ discretion, not our demand. Don’t let a rush for results cut off the conversation Jesus wants to have with you.
